Volume of prism =
[tex] \dfrac{3}{2} \times 2 \times 1 \\ = 3{cm}^{3} [/tex]

Volume of cube =
[tex] \dfrac{1}{2} \times \dfrac{1}{2} \times \dfrac{1}{2} = \dfrac{1}{6} {cm}^{3} [/tex]

Solution :
[tex]3 \div \dfrac{1}{6} \\ = 3 \times 6 \\ = 18[/tex]

Answer : It takes 18 cubes to fill the prism.
