[tex]4 + \dfrac{2}{3} + 0.75[/tex]

Change the decimal to fraction
[tex]4 + \dfrac{2}{3} + \dfrac{3}{4} [/tex]

Change the denominators to be the same
[tex]4 + \dfrac{2 \times 4 }{3 \times 4} + \dfrac{3 \times 3}{4 \times 3} [/tex]

[tex]4 + \dfrac{8 }{12} + \dfrac{9}{12} [/tex]

Add them up
[tex]4 \dfrac{17 }{12}[/tex]

Simplify
[tex]5 \dfrac{5}{12}[/tex]
