To solve for this, we can simply divide both sides by -1, so that y is by itself. :)

**Remember : when dividing by negative numbers, we must switch the sign. So, if our sign is ">" then it switches to "<" and if our sign is "<" then it switches to ">".**

So, let's divide! 

-y ÷ -1 < -2 ÷ -1

Simplify and switch our sign!

y > 2

Therefore, our answer is C. y > 2
