If you are trying to figure out how many marbles Timmy gave away, let's see -

All you really do is divide 24 into 6 pieces, then take 1 piece and count how many is in that one piece. Let's do it -

24 ÷ 6 = 4

See? Super easy, right? 1/6 of 24 marbles is equal to four marbles.
