Percent Change Formula:
(New # - Original #)/Original # x 100
If the answer is positive, it's an increase. If it's negative, a decrease.

P= percent
Original #= 3/8
New #= 7/8

P= (7/8-3/8)/3/8 x 100
P= (4/8 ÷ 3/8) x 100
multiply by 3/8 reciprocal/inverse
P= (4/8 x 8/3) x 100
P= 32/24 x 100
P= 1.3333 x 100
P= 133.33% increase

ANSWER:
3/8 to 7/8 is an increase of 133.33%.

Hope this helps! :)
