What is the slope of the line given by the equation y= 2.25x+ 2.44

Please help!

2.25x= 5.50x= 5.50/2.25 = 2.44The x intercept for this straight line is 2.44

The y-intercept is a point on the graph where x is zero

Using the equation we found in the previous step and substituting zero for x
y= -2.25×0+ 5.50y= 5.50
