The perimeter of a rectangle is 192 ft. The ratio of its length to its width is 7 : 5. What are the dimensions of the rectangle?

P = 192

192 = 2(L + W)
192 / 2 = L + W
96 = L + W

length to width.....7:5...added = 12
7/12 * 96 = 672/12 = 56 ft <== ur length
5/12 * 96 = 480/12 = 40 ft <== ur width
