To find this out, turn the percent into a decimal:

45% -----> .45 (Divide by 100)

Then multiply the total minutes by the decimal percent:

1400 x .45 = 630

The final answer is, Maris has used 630 minutes.

Hope this helps!

Hello! To find out how many minutes she has used total, all you have to do is multiply the number of minutes by the percentage of the minutes that she has used. Maris has 1,400 minutes to use and has already used 45% of them. 1,400 * 45% (0.45) is 630. There. Maris has used 630 minutes.
