A(n) = –3 • 2⁽ⁿ⁻¹⁾

for n = 1 ,  A₁ = -3.(2)⁰ = -3
for n = 2 ,  A₂ = -3.(2)¹ = -6
for n = 3 ,  A₃ = -3.(2)² = -12
for n = 4 ,  A₄ = -3.(2)³ = -24
...........................................
for n = 8 ,  A₈ = -3.(2)⁷ = -384
