Answer

  • select a cell: click on the empty cell directly below or to the right of the numbers you want to add up.
  • home tab: go to the home tab in the excel ribbon.
  • autosum: in the editing group, find the autosum button and click
  • formula: excel will suggest a formula with the range of cells you want to sum.
  • enter: press the Enter key to accept the formula and get the result.
