When the net force that acts on a hockey puck is 12 n, the puck accelerates at a rate of 48 m/s2. determine the mass of the puck?

Given:
Applied force = 12 N
Acceleration = 48 m/s²

If the mass is m kg, then 
(12 N) = (m kg)*(48 m/s²)
Therefore
48m = 12
    m = 0.25 kg

Answer: 0.25 kg
