Scorpius derives its name from a variety of Greek mythological stories involving a great huntsman named Orion.
Scorpious is mostly known as Scorpio. The constellation of Scorpio is best known as
representing the scorpion in the story of Orion the Hunter. Scorpio is one of twelve familiar
constellations of the Classical Greek Zodiac. It is next to Virgo in
constellations.
