You will first complete -3(A-4)=-3A+12
You now have 8A-3A-12=-3
You will now subtract 8A-3A=5A
You now have 5A+12=-3
You will now subtract 12 from both sides 5A=-15
You will then divide 5 on both sides, and you will have your answer!
A= -3
