What is the distance between R(5,2) and S(4,-7)?

You can calculate the distance between two point using this fomula: 

√(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2


If you insert you values you get:

 √(4-5)^2+(-7-2)^2 = 9.06 = 9.1
