Well, different cultures may be different. The most common one is were you watch the ball drop(on TV), and when you get to zero, everyone shouts Happy New Year!!
People from Slovakia usually say "Šťastný Nový Rok", whis is the same as "Happy New Year". Many minorities say similar things, but they have their own spin at it.
