We have that the general equation of the circle with radius r and center (h,k) is the following:

[tex](x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2[/tex]

in this case, we have the following equation:

[tex](x-2)^2+(y+2)^2=25[/tex]

notice that we can write the equation also like this:

[tex](x-2)^2+(y-(-2))^2=(5)^2[/tex]

notice the similarities with the general equation. We can see that the center is (h,k) = (2,-2) and the radius is r = 5
