For this problem we have the following point given:

[tex]P=(1,-3)[/tex]

And we want to determine the image point after a translation of 2 units to the right and upward. So then we just need to do the following:

[tex]I=(1+2,-3+2)[/tex]

And after do the math we got:

[tex]I=(3,-1)[/tex]

And the final answer for this case would be I=(3,-1)
