The mass of the water that will be needed to change its temperature by 25°C is :  43.33 grams

Given data :

Energy = 4532 J

Change in temperature = 25°C

Cw = 4.184 J/gk

Determine the mass of water needed

We will apply the formula below

Q = mCwΔt  ---- (1 )

4532 = m * 4.184 * 25

therefore :

m = 4532 / 104.6

   = 43.33 grams

Hence we can conclude that the mass of water needed to change the temperature by 25°C is 43.33 grams
