Hello my friend,

We want to find the value = b^2 - 4ac

We have :

5x^2 +7x = 6

Subtract ''6" for the side light from equacion.

Then stay:

5x^2 +7x - 6 = 0

Uau, Look now!

Like look with the equacion = ax^2+bx+c

Where ,

a = 5
b = 7
c = -6

As we know,

Delta = b^2 -4ac

Then,

Delta = 7^2 -4.5.(-6)

Delta = 49 -20.(-6)

Delta = 49 + 120

Delta = 169

This is tha answer...

I hope that help...
