We first substituted the X and Y in the equation, so 2 instead of X and 1 instead of Y.

Then I moved the K to make it the subject of the equation by algebra which gave me a -K, but I want k not negative k so I multiplied everything by -1 because, -1 × -1= +1 so K=2.
