Answer:

The standards for partitioning numbers are like the principles for multiplying numbers (when the divisor isn't zero). The quotient is positive if the divisor and dividend have similar/same signs and negative in the event that they have inverse signs. The remainder of any integers (with a nonzero divisor) will be a rational number.
