so I am pretty sure that people change their names because they have done something bad in their previous life and so they're going to come to a new foreign country to where no one knows of them and trust and make good amends. well I just could care less and they're just coming to live here because it's America.
Some people might change their names to fit in more in the U.S. Their name would be foreign and would want to fit it more by choosing a common U.S name.
