The perimeter of a rectangle is 122 m. The length of the rectangle is 11 m less than 5 times the width. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.

let x be the width
and 5x-11 the length
so the equation is:
5x-11+x+5x-11+x=122

12x-22=122
12x=144
x=12
so width is 12 and so lenght is 5*12-11=49
and now u can check 49+12+49+12=122
