How do you divide decimals?

It's the same as normal division. All you need to do is add the decimal in. Let me show you:

2.5/2
2/2 What's 2 divided by 2? It's 1.
.5/2 What's 5 divided by 2? 2.5, right? But since it's .5 (not 5) divided by 2, the decimal goes somewhere else. Since the 5 comes just to the right of the decimal, so will the 25. You have .25.

1 + .25 = 1.25. And that's the answer! 2.5/2=1.25. See how I broke it up into pieces? It makes life easier.
