I'm pretty sure when they say use "emotion", they mean to use hand motions to go with what you're saying and read with emotion instead of reading with only one tone of voice

answer: emotions can be used in a speech to move your audience. what I mean by that is to get them to cry or move to the position stated in the speech. You can use emotions by carrrying a different tone of voice and facial expressions are important to portraying your message.
