The numbers given in the question are 2/5, 4/9 and 3/7. We have to take them to decimal form for arranging the numbers in increasing order.
2/5 = 0.40
4/9 = 0.44
3/7 = 0.43
Then, the increasing order of the numbers would be 
2/5 < 3/7 < 4/9
