Scientists primarily attribute
global warming to artificial increases to the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. According
to NASA, carbon dioxide levels have increase to nearly 38 percent as of 2009
due to the burning of fossil fuels, cutting down carbon-absorbing forests.
