A vector is defined as an object which has got some value or magnitude and has a direction as well.

The vector =(0,0) is called the zero vector because it has zero length and no direction at all. The zero vector has an undefined direction.

The zero vector behaves same as the number zero and when added to any vector say "a", we get the answer as vector "a" which remains unchanged.
