The battle near Washington, Georgia, was called the Battle of Kettle Creek. The Patriot militia was actually lead by Andrew Pickens, along with Elijah Clarke and John Dooley. The Patriot militia consisted of around 350 people, while the Loyalists had around 700 people and being lead by James Boyd.
