Project managers often fail to implement a chosen strategy successfully despite extensive analysis of business environments. Although a significant amount of time and resources is invested in implementation, if the managers do not follow through with the the plan it will destroy the project.
Strategy implementation is referred to as the “graveyard of strategy” because if it is not implemented as planned, then it will die.
