DNA is translated inside the nucleus when the mRNA attaches itself to its nucleotide counterparts in DNA (A-U G-C). The genetic information (to build a specific protein) is then carried by mRNA outside of the nucleus, to the ribosomes in the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum to be transcribed into whatever protein the DNA coded the mRNA molecule for.
