Product that is completely made of hardwood is furniture like doors. Hardwood are mainly found in deciduous tree. Hardwood are generally harder and heavier than softwoods and softwoods are generally the conifer plants that bears cone.

The cell wall of hardwood are lignified due to which it is hard and dense and also has xylem vessels for conduction of water. Hardwoods grow slower than the softwoods. Trees like mahogany, maple, teak, oak etc. have hardwood.
