ANSWER

[tex]x>2[/tex]

EXPLANATION

We have the inequality

[tex]8(\frac{x}{4})>4[/tex]

We can cancel directly to get;

[tex]2(\frac{x}{1})>4[/tex]

[tex]\Rightarrow 2x>4[/tex]

We now divide both sides by 2,

[tex]\Rightarrow x>\frac{4}{2}[/tex]

[tex]x>2[/tex]
