How do water and carbon dioxide used for photosynthesis get into the plant's leaf?

We breathe out carbon dioxide to get into the plants and u know they give oxygen and water normally comes to the plant by rain or by us watering plants.

Water is absorbed by the roots and goes to the leaves through the xylem and carbon dioxide goes to the leaf through the stomata.
