Assuming 2x3 = 2x^3,

Divide both sides by 2:

[tex]x^3 = 1[/tex]

Cube root both sides:

[tex] \sqrt[3]{1} = 1 [/tex]
[tex]x = 1[/tex]

The value of x is 1.
