School meal programs in the United States are being done to provide free school meals or sometimes at government's price to US students. The National School Lunch Program assisted meal program being operated in the public as well as the nonprofit schools. It does have an impact as it would provide nutritional balance and low cost food to children thus promotes nutrition and wellness.
