Even though Laila’s rights and freedom as a woman were
taken away under the dictatorship of the Taliban she was extraordinarily
persistent often times rebelled against their oppression because she is a
strong representation of the strength and tenacity of the Afghani woman. And,
One of the favorable effects of Laila’s experiences is that she teaches the new
generation of children and prepares to bring new life into the world. It shows
that there is still hope even though there is so much suffering.
