What were some of the consequences suffered by 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence?

5 of the signers where captured by the British as traitors and tortured before they died, 12 of them had there homes burned down and ransacked, 2 of them lost their sons in the Revolutionary Army, another 2 had their sons captured, and last but not least, 9 out of the 56 fought in war and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War
