If a paralegal discovers that he or she lacks the competence to complete the task for which he or she has been retained, the paralegal shall:
a) Seek guidance from a colleague or supervisor
b) Proceed with the task and learn on the job
c) Notify the client of the incompetence
d) Decline the representation and withdraw from the case
